[Is it over? Should I laugh now?]
Yesterday, I got to thinking about jokes. And how I dislike them. I feel that 98% of them are stupid and bound to make you (or should I say me?) uncomfortable. There's nothing worse than when you listen to this stupid joke and you obviously DON'T find it funny at all, but you HAVE to laugh at it - just so that the person who told it won't be embarrassed or even upset.
And, mostly, I loathe people who laugh at the stupid jokes. To me, they might as well be rated as just as stupid as the joke itself.
For people who, at this point, are thinking: "what an incredibly boring person... how can anyone NOT like jokes?", I'll tell you how. There are people who don't like Lost, Sex and the City, Friends (!!!) or even Chico Buarque, so I guess I'm allowed to NOT like something and have people think I'm weird for that.
For those who are wondering, MANY things will surely make me laugh. I love laughing at my sister's sponteneous comments, at my brother-in-law's clueless remarks, at my students' goofiness, at my friends' drunken moments and at myself, whenever possible.
I guess the "funny" element in something comes a lot from the "natural" element of something. Made-up stories won't crack me up. But feel free to amuse me with your own personal stories. Or, at least, please try and stick to those 2% of all jokes that are actually funny.

pois eu sigo contando minhas anedotas. it's not about the joke itself but the way you tell it.

eu não sei se me encaixo na maioria sem graça pra vc, ou na minoria que às vezes te faz rir.
E vou fazer feito Zé: não vou deixar de contar minhas piadas. Ora porra!
